Shoppable video

Your product videos, as a feed shoppers swipe

Swipeo puts your vertical video on your storefront as a full-screen, swipeable feed, with the products in each clip tagged and one tap from the cart.

  • Added from the theme editor
  • No theme code to edit
  • Free plan with ten published reels

Swipeo does not have its own App Store listing yet. This page describes the app as it is built today.

The problem

The video is already shot. It is just not selling anything.

Most shops have a folder of vertical clips made for social. On the storefront they end up as a muted autoplay banner, or nowhere at all.

Video lives on social, where the checkout is somebody else's

The same clips play on your own domain, and the cart is yours

A shopper watches a clip and then has to go hunting for the product

Every reel carries its products; one tap opens them, one more adds to cart

A theme video section plays one clip and stops

A full-screen feed a shopper keeps swiping, the way they already scroll

No idea which video actually moved anything

Views, add to carts, shares and likes, per reel and per product

What it does

A video feed with a shop attached

Everything here is in the app today, on every plan including the free one.

A swipeable full-screen feed

Vertical video, one clip per screen, swiped like the apps your shoppers already use. It plays on your storefront, on your domain, in your theme.

Products tagged on every reel

Tag products from your catalogue on a reel. Tapping opens a product sheet with variants and price, and adding to cart goes through Shopify's own cart actions so your theme's drawer updates with it.

Nine looks, and a live preview

Start from a ready-made look, then fine-tune the colours, icons, corners, type, caption placement and button shape beside a phone preview that updates as you go.

Analytics that name the reel

Views, add to carts, shares and likes over the range you pick, with the reels and products that earned them listed in order.

A media library that does the encoding

Upload a video, import one by URL, or pull one from your Shopify files. Each one is transcoded to an adaptive stream with a poster frame, so a shopper on a phone gets a quality their connection can carry.

Sixteen languages in the player

The player's own interface ships in sixteen languages, including right-to-left Arabic, and picks the shopper's. Your reel titles and captions can be translated per language on a paid plan.

How it works

Four steps to a feed on your storefront

Add your video

Upload from your computer, paste a URL, or pick something already in your Shopify files. Swipeo encodes it and takes a poster frame.

Make it a reel

Give it a title and a caption, tag the products in it, and choose what the buy button does.

Put it on the storefront

In the theme editor, turn on the floating launcher, or drop the carousel or the stories bar into a section. No theme code.

Watch what it sells

The analytics page tells you which reels are being watched and which products they are moving.

Use cases

What merchants put in the feed

Product demos

The thirty seconds that answers what a photo cannot, with the product tagged on it so the answer ends at the cart.

Campaign landing pages

A named list gets its own address, so an email or an ad can point at just the summer reels rather than the whole feed.

Collection pages

A carousel of the reels for what is on the page, sitting under the grid, opening full screen when a shopper taps one.

Stories on the home page

A row of circular thumbnails at the top of the page, the format every shopper already knows what to do with.

Pricing

Plans priced by how much you publish

Every plan includes the swipeable feed, product tagging, your own colours and branding, unlimited drafts and the full analytics dashboard. The plans differ in how much you may publish, not in what the app does. Annual billing is available on every paid plan.

FAQ

Questions a merchant actually asks

Do I have to edit my theme code?

No. Swipeo ships three theme blocks you add from the theme editor: a floating launcher that opens the feed from any page, a carousel you drop into a section, and a stories bar. There is also a full-page feed at your store's /apps/swipeo address. Nothing is written into your theme files, so nothing is left behind if you remove the app.

Where do the videos come from?

Yours. Upload them from your computer, import one by URL, or pick a file already in your Shopify files. Swipeo transcodes each one into an adaptive stream with a poster frame, so a shopper on a slow phone gets a quality their connection can carry rather than a spinner.

How does adding to cart work?

In the shopper's own browser, on your own domain. The player prefers Shopify's standard storefront cart action, which means your theme hears the change and updates its own drawer and totals, and falls back to the classic /cart/add.js where that action is not present.

Can I show only part of my feed on a landing page?

Yes. A list is a named subset of your reels with its own public address under /apps/swipeo, so a campaign email, an ad or a collection page can point at just those reels instead of the whole feed.

What does Swipeo measure, and does it respect consent?

It records views, add to carts, shares and likes against each reel and each tagged product, which is what the analytics page reads. If you turn on the marketing pixel, feed events can also be forwarded to Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, X and Google — through Shopify's web pixel sandbox, which does not load it at all until the shopper has granted marketing consent.

Will the player speak my customers' language?

The player's own interface ships in sixteen languages, including right-to-left Arabic, and follows the shopper's storefront language. Your own reel titles and captions are translated in the app's localization editor, which is available on the paid plans.

Is Swipeo on the Shopify App Store?

Not yet. Swipeo does not have its own App Store listing, so it cannot be installed from a search there today. The link on this page goes to XCO Agency's partner page, where our published apps are listed; this page will point at Swipeo's own listing as soon as it exists.

Your videos are already shot. Put them where they sell.

Swipeo turns them into a feed on your storefront, with the products in them one tap away.
